The maintenance of power cable in tunnels has always been a challenge due to issues such as disorderly placement of cables, leakage of electrical connections, short circuit, and difficulties in trouble-shooting.
In 2024, Hongrui undertook a tunnel electrical maintenance projects, including the Panlongshan Tunnel and Huolu Tunnel in Taian City, China. According to the following five specialized measures, Hongrui has greatly improved the efficiency and safety of tunnel electrical maintenance.
● Monitoring and early warning of potential accidents of the power cable;
● Monitoring of the ground leads;
● Detection of T-joints and joint positions of tunnel cables;
● Environmental monitoring, including cabinet temperature and humidity;
● Monitoring of the fire water tank and water flow rate;
This is the first intelligent safety system for tunnel power cables in the highway tunnel area.
After the project was put into use, the following effects were achieved:
It realizes the remote monitoring of the cable status, and eliminates the need for manual inspection to identify the hidden dangers.
Through the analysis of daily monitoring data by the software, the prediction and early warning of potential faults are realized.
24-hour monitoring of environmental factors such as temperature and humidity affecting the distribution cabinet, allowing the maintenance team to address problems promptly;
The water level and water flow of the fire pool can be seen remotely at any time, and the water level of the pool can be grasped in time to prevent insufficient water sources in case of fire.
The project not only includes a large number of monitoring and maintenance equipment, but also a large number of software design and big data computing. This project is the first successful case of Hongrui in the field of smart devices, and it is a milestone.
At present, the technology of the project has attracted great attention from China's highway industry, and some western provinces with more tunnels are negotiating with Hongrui Company to introduce the technology to improve the maintenance efficiency of local tunnels and improve the safety of tunnel electricity.
